‘Want some advice? Let it go and move on. No good will come from fighting this. Plus, you won't win.’
Ah shit. He shouldn’t have told her that. Rachel was the bull, and this idiot just whipped out a red flag - “you can’t” or “you won’t” is not a warning to Rachel - it’s a challenge.
‘Because I’m a woman?!’
Here we go. The only daughter with five brothers; two are Olympic gold medallists, one a touring musician, one an actor with a Golden Globe, and another a surgeon.
Not only was she sick of being the least impressive, but she was also furious because no one expected her to be. She always wondered - WHY NOT? This chip, however, was about to get uncontrollable.
‘No Rachel, because Amazon have a £200m budget each year with an in-house counsel larger than 90% of law firms in the UK and you can't even afford the small claim court fee.’
Baz had a point. Rachel said nothing, just picked up the stapler on my desk and launched it at Baz, then patted herself down as if that outburst fixed everything and calmly walked out.

‘That went well,’ I offered as Baz was frozen to his spot, eyes wide in terror.
It was his first time in the ring with a bull – if he comes back to work tomorrow, it won't be his last.
